Why We Built This Site
California uses several distinct record systems. Mono County Sheriff's Records handles eligible report requests, while Citizen RIMS provides public custody, arrest, and warrant tools. Mono Superior Court keeps filed charges and dispositions but has no public online case search. California Department of Justice maintains fingerprint-linked state histories, and the California Megan's Law Website publishes the registry information authorized by law. We organize those separate routes, fees, and request steps in one place.

This is a privately operated reference site with no connection to a California court, sheriff, police department, or state agency. Its role has firm limits:
- We do not retrieve criminal records or conduct official checks
- We cannot submit record requests or relief petitions for a reader
- We do not issue certified court records or state RAP sheets
- We cannot interpret a charge or provide legal advice
- We cannot promise that an agency's contact details or fees have not changed
An official copy must come from Mono Superior Court, the sheriff, California Department of Justice, or the agency that created it.
